1. Acceptance

By accessing or using gobrooms (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

gobrooms provides anonymous, temporary chatrooms. Messages are automatically deleted and the Service is provided for casual, lawful communication. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Your conduct

You are responsible for everything you send. You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; harass, threaten, or abuse others; share content that sexually exploits minors or is otherwise illegal; distribute malware or spam; attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or impersonate others in a deceptive way.

4. Rooms and moderation

Room admins may kick members, lock rooms, or clear chat. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot see their content and do not monitor conversations; moderation relies on room admins and on reports from people in a room, who may share what they can see. We may remove rooms or block access for anyone who violates these Terms, without notice.

5. Content

You retain ownership of what you post. You grant us only the limited permission needed to relay and temporarily store it, in encrypted form, to operate the Service. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, as described in our Privacy Policy, but you are still responsible for them, and other people in a room can read and copy what you post there.

6. Encryption and your keys

Your encryption keys are created and stored only in your browser. We cannot recover them. If you clear your site data, switch devices, or use a private window, messages encrypted with earlier keys can’t be read on that device. You are responsible for deciding whom to trust.

7. Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, gobrooms and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
